Hey guys, I am currently looking for writers for Rising Above Magazine. Our staff is small but there is need for more creative individuals who are interested in writing and reaching out to other survivors and victims of abuse. Rising Above Magazine is a monthly Ezine that is free to download. Currently I have 9 members on staff. We are a small staff and we are just starting out. This is a voluntary position as we are not an official business; we are just a group of survivors who want to make a difference in this world by sharing our stories and experiences with others out there. There aren't any real requirements to be a part of the team. I am just looking for people who love to write and want to encourage, inspire, motivate, and reach out to fellow survivors and victims of abuse. It is a great opportunity to let your voice be heard. You do not have to be a great writer, either. I'm just interested in finding people who are willing to share their stories and be a voice for those who haven't had the chance to be heard or have the opportunity to have their stories told. Every survivor has a story and every voice matters. The purpose of Rising Above is to give survivors and victims hope as well as educate those who are unaware of the dangers of abuse and how damaging it can be. At Rising Above, we are always looking for new, fresh ideas and writers who have a passion for helping others. It's not about the publicity or the fame; it's about making a change in this world and revealing the truth about what we survivors have gone through in our lives. Even if you don't have time to be fully committed to the staff, you are more than welcome to submit any articles, poetry, stories, etc. that you have. Your story is very important. We want to hear what you have to say.
